Alifiya Hardware Mart

Alifiya Hardware Mart is our shop located at 48, Mithaiwala Building on Sarang Street. Most people around here call it Khokha Bazaar. We are right in the middle of the Crawford Market area, so it is always incredibly busy and noisy outside. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of history to it. Inside our shop, it is pretty packed. We sell all kinds of hardware, from small screws and nails to hinges and bigger metal parts. There isn't much room to move around because we try to keep as much stock as possible on the shelves. Sometimes you might have to step over a box or two, but that is just how things are in the bazaar. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy lights. It’s just a regular hardware store where we help people find the right bits for their repairs or projects. We’ve been here for a long time and we know many of the other shopkeepers and regular customers by their first names. We don't bother with any big marketing plans or shiny brochures. We just rely on people knowing that we have what they need. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, and it suits us perfectly. If you are ever navigating through the crowds of Crawford Market, you can find us tucked away in the bazaar at number 48.
