Our office is right in the thick of it at Sam Business Center. We are on the first floor, specifically units 2 and 3. If you’ve ever walked down Bhajipala Lane or Nagdevi Street, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like. It’s crowded, it’s noisy, and there’s always someone hauling a cart full of goods past the door. Ali-Zehra International has been operating from this spot for a good while. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and sometimes the lighting in the hallway flickers, but once you get inside our space, it’s all organized. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls because that’s the nature of international trade. Being in Nagdevi means we are surrounded by hardware shops and suppliers of every kind. You can find almost anything within a five-minute walk if you know which alley to turn down. It’s a bit of a maze for people who aren’t from around here, but for us, it’s just home. We don’t spend much time making the place look pretty for visitors because we’re usually too busy tracking shipments or talking to vendors. It’s a practical setup. We have a small desk for the accounts and enough space for the samples. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. It’s just how business is done in this part of the city.
