Our office is located at Nagdevi Street, right near Crawford Market. It’s on the 4th floor of S.K. House, which is Plot 171/173. If you’ve ever been to Mandvi, you know how packed the streets are with people and goods moving everywhere. It’s a very old part of Mumbai, and we’ve been working out of this building for some time now. Alam Global Realtor is basically a small team that knows the ins and outs of this specific neighborhood. We deal with commercial and residential properties, mostly focusing on what's available in the local market. The office is often full of papers and the sound of the market outside. We don’t do things in a very formal way; it’s more about sitting down and talking through what a client needs. Crawford Market is a landmark, so finding us isn't too hard once you get into the rhythm of the streets. Most of our work involves checking out old buildings and seeing what’s up for sale or lease. We spend a lot of time walking to different sites because driving around here is almost impossible. It’s a gritty, real part of the city, and our business reflects that. We don’t make big promises, we just try to find the right match for whoever walks through our door. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking documents to make sure everything is legal and square for the people we work with every day.
