Our shop is tucked away in Kandivali West, right by the HDFC Bank. If you look for us, you’ll probably see a lot of thread and fabric scraps near the door. It is a small space, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent behind the machines or marking out patterns on the big table. There’s always music playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. We handle a lot of different things, from simple fixes to more detailed stitch work that takes a few days. It gets a bit crowded when people come in to pick up their orders all at once. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific color of silk or find that one needle that went missing. The neighborhood is good, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars pretty well. It’s funny how you start to recognize people by what they bring in to get worked on. We don't really do anything fancy here, just keeping the needles moving and making sure things are done right. Some evenings the light isn't the best, so we have to use extra lamps to see the fine details. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We are usually here until late making sure we stay on top of the pile of work on the counter. It's a bit messy, but that's how it is when you're actually busy. It’s been this way for a long time now.
