Akash Diamond Tools

We are located in the Pancharatna building over at Charni Road. If you know anything about this part of Mumbai, you know it’s the center for everything to do with diamonds. Akash Diamond Tools is in Office No 11. It’s a small space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. We deal with the tools that people use to cut and shape stones. It’s a very specific niche, and the people who come to see us usually know exactly what they are looking for. The building itself is always buzzing with people running back and forth with small packets. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Our office is usually cluttered with catalogs and tool samples on every available surface. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who understand how these tools work and which ones are best for different jobs. There’s no plush carpet or fancy lighting here. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with workers from the local workshops. It’s a busy life, and the days go by pretty fast when you’re in the middle of Charni Road. We just keep our heads down and make sure we have the right tools in stock when a customer needs them. Most days we are so busy that we eat lunch right at our desks while checking orders.
