Advance Plastics

Our office is in Lucky Tower, specifically Office No C2. If you know Kandivali West, you know how Mg Cross Road No 4 can get during the rush. We are situated behind Patel Nagar. It’s a solid building, though the elevator is a bit slow on Monday mornings. Advance Plastics has been running out of this room for a while. We have samples of different plastic bits and pieces all over the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in and we have to stack boxes near the door. The sunlight hits the windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses so there is always someone moving something or a bike honking outside. We know the security guard at the gate well. He usually lets us know when the mail arrives. Most of our day is just handling the technical side of things and making sure the plastics go where they need to go. There is nothing fancy about our setup here in Mumbai. It is just a workspace where we get our hands dirty with the details of the trade and try to keep things moving. We stay late quite often because there is always more to finish before we head home for the evening.
