I have been working as an estate agent from my office at 463/45 Bhagat Niwas in Tardeo for quite some time. It is located near the Prakash Mirror Co, which is a place most people around here know well. Tardeo is a crowded area, and finding a good place to live or work can be a real struggle for many folks. I spend my days keeping track of which flats are empty and which ones are about to be sold. It is a lot of walking up and down different buildings, some with lifts that work and some where you have to take the stairs. My office in Bhagat Niwas is small and filled with files and keys from over the years. I don’t use any of those big property websites much. I prefer just talking to people face to face or over the phone. You get to know what someone really wants that way. Sometimes the market is slow and I just sit and have tea with the other shop owners nearby. Other days, the phone does not stop ringing with people asking about rents. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. I try to be honest about the places I show, even if the paint is peeling a bit or the water pressure isn't great.
