Our place, Adidev Property Consultants, is at 3J on the 3rd floor of Manek Chambers. It’s located on Dr D B Marg, which is a really busy part of the city. If you’ve ever been to Manek Chambers, you know it’s a big building with lots of offices. Being on the 3rd floor means we get a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the city moving. It’s mostly just us and a few desks piled with property papers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. Dr D B Marg has so much traffic all day long. Sometimes I look out and wonder how everyone gets anywhere. The office is pretty simple, nothing fancy to look at. We’ve got a few chairs for visitors and a big cupboard where we store all the files from over the years. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know the streets pretty well. We just help people who are trying to figure out where to buy or rent. It’s not like those big companies with fancy websites. We just do things the old way, mostly talking and writing stuff down. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but we’re used to it. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We just show up every morning, handle the paperwork, and talk to whoever comes through the door.
