Acusharp Knives

We are based at number 2 in the Chopra Estate, which is part of the Janta Market over in Bhandup West. It’s a very busy market area, and there is always a lot of shouting and movement outside our door. We handle knives and sharpening, so you can imagine it’s a lot of metalwork and the sound of grinders. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful where we put things so nobody gets cut or trips over. Janta Market is the kind of place where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals know where to find us when they need something sharpened or a new blade. The walls are lined with different kinds of tools and stones. It’s a bit dark inside because the shop is deep, but we have good lamps over the work areas. Sometimes the smell of the market—food and exhaust and everything else—drifts in, but we are used to it. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that, just our name on the door and the work we do. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by walking past on their way to get groceries. It’s a humble place, but it serves us well for the work we do.
