We are based at No. 2 Om Chambers in Kemps Corner. It’s a busy part of the city, and Om Chambers is a building that has been around for quite some time. Abujani Sandeep Khosla Designers is just one of the many businesses here. Our space is filled with all sorts of things like fabric rolls, sketches, and sewing kits. It’s not a very big office, so things can get a bit cluttered when we are working on a new project. We have big tables where we spread out the designs to take a look at them. The walls are covered with notes and samples pinned up everywhere. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture; we mostly just have what is functional. The noise from the street downstairs is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. Sometimes the courier guys have trouble finding parking because Kemps Corner is always so packed. We often have to run down to meet them at the entrance. It’s just the way things are here. We spend our days mostly focused on the details of the work. It’s a lot of long hours, but we enjoy the process of seeing something go from a drawing to a finished piece. It’s a messy place, but we know where everything is. We keep the coffee pot running all day to keep us going.
