Our office is up on the fourth floor of Podar House, right on A Road in Churchgate. If you know the Mumbai area, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been at AAAP Realestate for a bit, mostly dealing with property around the city. It’s not a huge operation. Just a few of us trying to keep track of listings and talking to people who want to move into the neighborhood. The commute to Churchgate can be a bit much some mornings, but we like being in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone or stuck in traffic going to see buildings. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, or the rain makes things a mess, but we manage. We don’t have some big philosophy about real estate. We just look at what’s available and tell people the truth about the prices. Dealing with Mumbai property is always a bit of a puzzle. We try to keep our notes organized, though some days the desk gets buried under folders. It’s just how it goes in a small office. If you’re ever near the station or walking down A Road, that’s where you’ll find us. We’ve got some good windows looking out, though we’re usually too busy to stare out of them for long.
