A To Z Dollar Shop Exclusive is based in Dadar West, specifically at Sgs & Company, 33, Kirtikar Ma. We are right opposite the Kabutar Khana, which is probably the most famous spot in the whole area. Being near Sheel Salve Udyog Bhavan and the Bhaji Market means there is never a quiet moment. From the second we open the shutters, we are surrounded by the smells of the market and the noise of the crowds. The shop is packed with all sorts of items. We call it a dollar shop because we try to keep things affordable, but it’s really just a massive collection of household goods, toys, and random knick-knacks. The aisles are narrow because we want to offer as much variety as possible. It’s not a fancy shopping mall experience where you have lots of space to walk. You have to navigate around the baskets and the other customers. We spend a lot of time helping people find things because even we forget where everything is sometimes. The building is old and has a lot of character, much like Dadar itself. We don’t bother with big advertisements because the foot traffic from the market is more than enough to keep us on our feet. It’s a chaotic, friendly place where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We just stay busy, keep the shelves stocked, and enjoy the energy of being in the heart of the Dadar market.
