A One Machine Tools

We set up shop at 1 LBS Marg in Ghatkopar West. We are pretty easy to spot because we’re right near the Crime Branch and opposite Swastik Hardware. A One Machine Tools is what the sign says above the door. It’s a typical hardware and machine tool shop. We have stacks of stuff everywhere. It might look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where the 10mm drill bits or the heavy wrenches are kept. The street outside is always humming with cars and buses on LBS Marg. We spend our time between the counter and the back storage area. There isn't much room for sitting around. We handle a lot of walk-in trade from local contractors and repairmen. Sometimes we have to order things in if it’s a weird size, but usually, we have what's needed on the shelf. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People just know we’re here because we’ve been around for a long time. We drink our tea standing up most of the time because it’s so busy. The floor is a bit worn out from all the boots and heavy boxes, but it’s a solid place. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all over again the next day. It’s a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps us moving and the days go by fast.
