A. N. Foundation is based out of Arshad Manzil in Santosh Nagar, specifically at unit 204. If you know the Bombay Colony area, you know we are right near the railway line. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, which used to be distracting, but now we don’t even notice it. The office is a small space where we manage all our daily activities. It’s tucked away in a residential-feeling spot, which makes it feel more personal than a big downtown office. We spend a lot of time here planning and talking to the people who stop by. There’s always a kettle going for tea because neighbors and visitors are constantly dropping in. Being near the tracks means it’s a bit noisy, but the location works for us because people know where to find Arshad Manzil. We aren't a big organization with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us trying to manage the foundation's work from this second-floor room. The stairs are a bit steep, and the building is old, but it has character. We keep our records in metal cabinets and try to stay on top of the daily chores that come with running a place like this. It’s honest work, and we just take it one day at a time without much fanfare or complicated systems. We just try to keep things moving along steadily.
