A M I Machine Tools

We are over at 20 Fort 1st Main, on St Bed Road. It is a decent area and fairly easy to locate once you get onto the main road. Our shop is where we keep all the machine tools. It is a pretty simple setup. We have racks for the smaller items and some space on the floor for the heavier stuff. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what kind of lathe or drill they need. It is not a fancy showroom with bright lights. We have basic tubelights and some fans to keep the air moving. Most days involve us checking the stock and helping customers who stop by. We also spend time on the phone with suppliers. The building itself is older, but it serves our needs just fine. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people know us through word of mouth or because they drove past and saw the sign. We have got a small area where we sit to do the billing, but mostly we are on our feet moving things around. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit backed up and it is hard to walk through the aisles, but we manage. It is a small business and we like it that way. We just focus on what is in front of us and try to get through the day’s tasks without too much fuss. It is a steady way of life for us.
