We are A 1 Machines Tools, and you can find us down in the Mohammad Jama Masjid Compound. We are part of the Nand Jyothi Industrial Estate in Andheri East, located right below the Jama Masjid itself. It is a very busy spot with a constant flow of people and vehicles moving around. We have been working out of this industrial estate for a long time now. Finding us is quite easy if you just look for the mosque as a landmark. We are right there below it. The space we have is packed with various machines and spare parts. It is definitely not a clean or shiny showroom; it is a real working shop. We often have grease on our hands and there is usually a bit of metal scrap or shavings on the floor by the time we close up. Andheri East is a major hub for this kind of industrial work, and being in the Nand Jyothi estate puts us right where all the action is. We do not use a lot of fancy words or marketing talk to describe what we do here. We just work with machine tools. If something needs to be sourced from a supplier or fixed for a customer, we do our best to get it sorted out quickly. The crew we have here is small and we have all known each other for a very long time. It feels more like a family business even though we are not all related to each other. We usually take a break for tea in the late afternoons and then get right back to the machines. It is a steady, predictable life. We do not go in for big marketing campaigns or anything promotional. We just stay at our spot in the compound and wait for the next job to come through the door.
