A 1 Designers

We’re located over on Khar Sheikh Misry Road 2. It’s a bit of a busy street with plenty of things happening all the time. At A 1 Designers, we don't really have a fancy studio like the ones you see in design magazines. It’s more of a workshop feel here. We have our tools, our tables, and a lot of sketches lying around. We spend most of our hours just trying to get the details right on whatever we happen to be working on. Sometimes we’re here late because something didn't look right and we had to start the whole thing over. It’s just how designing goes. It’s not always pretty. There’s dust and scraps and usually a lot of empty tea cups. We aren't a big firm with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll find one of us with a pencil in hand or staring at a computer screen. We like being in this part of town. It has a bit of character. People around here know us as the ones who are always busy with some project or another. We don't do much talking about "vision" or things like that. We just look at what needs to be made and we try to make it look decent and work well. It’s a lot of trial and error. Some days are frustrating when things don't fit, but we usually figure it out eventually. We've been at this address a while and don't plan on moving. It suits what we do.
