Unique Handicrafts

Unique Handicrafts is located on Prince Road in the Asalat Pura neighborhood. This area is known for people who work with their hands, and we are just one of the many small shops around here. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and the building is starting to show its age, but it’s home to us. Inside, you’ll find mostly half-finished pieces and boxes of materials ready to be worked on. We don't have a big storefront with lights. It’s just a simple door that stays open during the day. We are usually busy carving or polishing, depending on what the order is. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it’s a very local feel. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions of what we do. We just make the handicrafts and sell them to whoever needs them. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people shouting, but that’s just Prince Road for you. We’ve learned to work through the heat and the noise without much complaint. Our tools are old but they still work fine. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just craftspeople making a living in Asalat Pura. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but we always get back to it. It’s a steady life and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
