You can find Warsi Handicraft at House No. 36, which is exactly opposite M. P. Studio. Being across from a photo studio makes it easy to tell people where we are located. Our place is full of the smell of raw materials and old wood. We don't have a big showroom; instead, the house is filled with things we are currently making. There are stacks of finished pieces in the corner and piles of stuff waiting to be worked on. The floor is usually covered in shavings or bits of thread depending on what the project is. It is a family-run kind of thing where everyone knows their job. We don't have a receptionist, so if you walk in, you might have to shout a bit to get someone’s attention from the back room. The light in the front room is good for the detailed work we do. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of House No. 36 and it gets quite warm inside. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors are used to the noise of us working. It isn't a factory with machines; it is more about using our hands and simple tools. We spend a lot of time just making sure the edges are smooth or the colors are right. It is a bit messy and crowded, but that is how we like to work. It feels real and productive every single day.
