Roshan Arts Emporium

Despite the name, Roshan Arts Emporium is really just a modest shop on Bazigaran Street. We called it an emporium a long time ago and the name just stuck, even if it feels a bit too grand for what we actually are. It’s mostly just shelves filled with things we’ve collected or made over the many seasons we've been open. The floorboards creak when you walk in, and we usually have a radio playing some music or news somewhere in the back. We spend a lot of time cleaning dust off the items because Bazigaran Street gets quite a bit of wind blowing through the open door. It's not a high-pressure environment here at all. We mostly just wait for people to wander in from the sidewalk and see if anything catches their eye. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just reorganizing the shelves or fixing a loose hinge on an old display case. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous place in town. We just like having a space where we can show what’s been made by us and others. The neighbors are nice, and we often share tea with the shopkeeper next door when things get quiet in the afternoon. It’s a slow pace of life, which suits us just fine. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff, we just open the doors and see who comes by to browse.
