About Raj Rani Handicrafts – Art & Craft in Moradabad
Raj Rani Handicrafts is located right in the middle of Bartan Bazar on Loha Garh Street. If you’ve ever been to the bazaar, you know how it is—metal clanging, people shouting, and narrow streets filled with all sorts of things. Loha Garh Street is especially known for being a bit of a maze. We’ve had our shop here for a long time, and we’re surrounded by people selling all kinds of utensils and metalware. It’s a loud, dusty, and very busy place to be every day. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. It’s more of a traditional shop where things are stacked up wherever they fit. Raj Rani Handicrafts is a name we’ve used since we started. Most days involve us sitting on the floor or on small stools, sorting through the items we’ve got. The street is so narrow that cars can’t even come down here, so it’s all rickshaws and people walking. It’s a very old way of doing business, but it’s what we know. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. Bartan Bazar has its own life, and we are just one small part of it on Loha Garh Street. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it.
