We’ve been running the trading office at 145 Lajpat Nagar for quite a while now. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and there’s never enough parking. Our place is right in the middle of that mess. We deal with a lot of different goods, mostly stuff coming in and going out. The office is basically just desks piled high with paperwork and samples of whatever we are trading that week. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have a system that works for us. We aren't some giant corporation with a glass building. It’s just a regular spot in a busy neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit and have lunch. It’s hard work and the days are long, but that’s just trading for you. We don't really bother with making the place look pretty for visitors. Most of our business is done through calls and emails anyway. People know us because we’ve stayed in the same spot at 145 for years. We just keep our heads down and keep the goods moving. It’s a practical way to live. Lajpat Nagar has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. We don't have any big goals of taking over the world, we just want to keep the trade steady and the bills paid every month.
