Ma Handicrafts

At Ma Handicrafts, we spend our days in Mughalpura 1st. This area is known for people making things with their hands, and we are right in the middle of it. Our space is usually full of materials and tools. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. We’ve been in Mughalpura for a long time. The street outside is narrow and always has something going on. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just make the handicrafts and hope people like the quality of the work. Sometimes we are working late into the evening when there is a lot to get done. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know our way around. It’s a bit noisy with the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the doors, but that is just how Mughalpura 1st is. We use simple tools and techniques that have been around for a while. Every person here has their own way of doing things. We don’t really follow a strict corporate manual. If someone walks in, they see us at work, covered in dust or paint or whatever we are using that day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local scene here. There is always someone dropping by for a chat while we finish up the latest batch of items for the day.
