You can find us in Majhola, very close to the Mandi Samiti. Being near the market means there is always something happening outside our doors. In the mornings, you can hear the trucks and the shouting of the traders, which usually wakes us up better than a cup of tea. Our workshop is a bit of a maze of different pieces we are working on. We do a lot of things by hand, so there are no big automated machines humming away here. It’s just the sound of hand tools and people talking while they work. We don't have a showroom, so if you come by, you’re walking straight into the middle of the mess. There are wood shavings or bits of metal on the floor depending on what the order is for that week. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy and it fits what we need. Sometimes when the market is particularly busy, it’s hard to even get a vehicle down the street to our door. We just take it as it comes and don’t get too stressed about it. It’s honest work that keeps our hands busy and our minds occupied. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just stay here near the Mandi and keep making our things.
