Moti Handicrafts

You’ll find us on G.M.D. Road, right across from Jawahar Market. It’s a very lively area, especially on market days when the streets are packed with people. We’ve been working out of this shop making handicrafts for many years now. The space is usually filled with the materials we use, like wood, fabric, or whatever we are working on at the moment. It’s not a tidy place, but everything has its own spot. We enjoy the process of making things by hand rather than using big machines. It takes more time, but the results feel a lot more personal that way. Being near Jawahar Market means there’s always something to see out the front window. We get a lot of foot traffic from people who are already out shopping for their daily needs. We aren't a big company with a corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who enjoy the craft. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just put our items out and let people see them for themselves. Some of our pieces take days to finish, and we don't mind the slow pace. It’s a way of life for us here on G.M.D. Road. We’ve become a part of the local scenery over the decades, just like the market across the street.
