Marvellous Handicrafts Corp.

Marvellous Handicrafts Corp. is located on Baruwalan Street. Don’t let the Corp part of the name fool you, we aren’t some big company with a hundred employees. It’s just a small group of us working out of a space that gets quite a lot of sun in the afternoons. Baruwalan Street is one of those narrow streets where everyone knows their neighbors. Our building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling a little bit around the window frames, but it’s got character. We do a lot of our work by hand, so the place is usually covered in bits of material and tools left out on the tables. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We like the street we’re on because it feels like a real community. Sometimes we stand outside the door just to get some air and chat with the guy who sells tea down the way. It’s a simple life we have here. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just make things and hope people like them enough to buy them. The street can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we have a bit of a rug by the door to catch most of it. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their best every day.
