Crown Crafts

Down at 157 Lajpat Nagar, that is where we run Crown Crafts. It is a typical busy street, and we have been here for quite some time now. Our space is mostly taken up by the materials we use for our craft work. You can find piles of different things everywhere you look. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is located. We spend our days working with our hands, making various items that people seem to like. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a small operation with a few of us who have been doing this for years. Lajpat Nagar is a good place to be because there is always something going on outside the door. We get a lot of walk-ins, people just curious about what we are making. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to slow down, but usually, we are busy from morning until evening. We don't really do much in the way of fancy marketing or anything like that. People know us in the neighborhood, and that seems to be enough for us. The work can be repetitive, but there is a certain rhythm to it that I enjoy. We just keep our heads down and focus on finishing the orders we have on the bench. Sometimes we drink tea while we wait for things to dry. It is honest work and we are glad to be doing it here at number 157.
