Kaysons Handicrafts

If you know where the 440 Kva sub-station is on Delhi Road, then you know exactly where Kaysons Handicrafts is located. We are right across from it. Sometimes you can hear a bit of a hum from the station, but after a while, you don't even notice it anymore. We've been at this spot for a long time. It's a decent place to work, even if the Delhi Road traffic gets a bit much during the rush hour. Inside our shop, it's mostly just piles of materials and the stuff we've made. We aren't big on decorations or making things look like a showroom. It’s a workshop first and foremost. We spend our days cutting, carving, or whatever else needs doing for the handicrafts. Sometimes we have a cup of tea and watch the trucks go by outside. It's a practical way to spend the day. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the craft. We don't use any fancy machines, just what we've always used. The floor is usually covered in scraps, but we clean up every now and then. People stop in because they saw our sign from the road. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just make things and hope they turn out well. It’s a steady life here, and we like being part of the local scene on this side of town. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
