Sar Handicrafts

We work out of the Karula Malik Masjid area. Sar Handicrafts is really just a group of us making things by hand. It is what we have always done. The workshop is tucked away near the masjid. You can usually find us there from early in the morning until the sun goes down. We make various items, mostly things people might use in their houses. It is not a factory with big machines. Everything we do takes a bit of time. Sometimes we run out of materials and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. That is just part of the process of making things this way. We do not have a showroom with bright lights or glass cases. Most people just come by the workspace to see what we have finished lately. The floors are often covered in scraps and dust from the daily work. It is honest labor. We have been in Karula for a long time. People around here know the sound of our tools clicking away. We are not looking to become some huge corporation. We just like making stuff that stays together and lasts a while. Some of the designs are things we have been doing for many years now. It is a bit cramped inside the shop but we make it work for us. If you are looking for where we are, just ask anyone near Malik Masjid. Most neighbors can point you the right way. We keep it simple.
