About Kamaal Souvenir Handicrafts – Art & Craft in Moradabad
We’ve been at 164 Kamaal House on Peerzada Road for a good while now. It’s mostly just us working with handicrafts. My family started this because we liked making things by hand. The workshop is usually a bit messy with wood shavings and fabric scraps everywhere, but that’s how we get things done. People come by to see what we’ve made recently. We make small souvenirs mostly. Sometimes the lighting in the shop isn't great, but the items speak for themselves. It’s a quiet spot on Peerzada Road. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. It’s just the house where we work and store the finished pieces. Some days are busier than others when we get a big order, but usually, it’s just the sound of tools and us chatting. We’ve known the neighbors for years. If you walk past Kamaal House, you’ll probably see us sitting near the entrance or sorting through materials. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local place where things are made one at a time. We handle the packing ourselves too. It takes time to get things right. Sometimes we run out of a specific material and have to wait for more to arrive from the suppliers. That's just part of how it goes here. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing we are here and coming in to talk.
