Shivam Overseas

We are set up at No. 27 Jawahar Nagar. It’s a pretty standard spot in a neighborhood that stays fairly active all through the day. We’ve been doing this for a bit now. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for everything we handle. Most of our day is spent dealing with people from other places, which is why the "Overseas" bit is in the name. It’s interesting to see where things go. Sometimes we are waiting on shipments and other times we are rushing to get things out the door. The neighbors are alright, though they probably don't like when the big delivery vans block the lane for a few minutes. We try to be quick about it so we don't bother them too much. Inside, it’s just a bunch of boxes and some old filing cabinets. We don't really do the whole modern office look with glass and chrome. It’s more about being functional. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and a lady who keeps the records straight. It gets pretty loud when everyone is talking at once. We usually eat lunch together at the back table. Nothing fancy, just home food from the tiffin. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done. If something goes wrong, we just fix it and move on. That’s how we’ve always operated. We don't plan on changing much.
