India Collection

India Collection is located right in the middle of Bartan Bazar, near the Shahi Masjid. If you’ve ever been to Bartan Bazar, you know how crowded and loud it can get with all the shops and shoppers. We’ve been here for a long time, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Our shop is small and filled to the ceiling with all kinds of items. There isn't much room to walk around, but we manage. We don't have a polished website or a team of people to handle our image. We just open our doors every morning and see what the day brings. The mosque nearby is a great landmark for people trying to find us. We often hear the calls to prayer while we are working, which gives the day a nice rhythm. It’s a very traditional way of doing business here. We don't use fancy terms or try to impress anyone. We just know our stock and we know our neighbors. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with carts that we can't even get out, but we just take it in stride. It’s a busy, messy, and wonderful place to work. We don't have a corporate strategy. We just try to be fair and keep our shop running. Being part of the bazaar for so many years has taught us a lot about people and about life in general. We just keep things simple and focus on the work right in front of us.
