We've been here in Mohalla Mangal Pura for a good while now. Our place is easy to find if you know where the Gole Wali Imli is in Sarai Tareen. It's a busy part of town but it suits us just fine. Most days you'll find us busy with the handicraft work right here in the shop. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just our workspace where we get things done. People around here know us for what we do. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with all the tools going, but that's just how a workshop is. We try to keep things moving and make sure every piece that leaves here is decent. It’s a local operation, mostly just family and a few helpers from the neighborhood. Sarai Tareen has always been a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, we'd rather be working with our hands. If you’re walking past the old tamarind tree, you’re pretty much at our doorstep. We keep it simple and just focus on the orders we have on the table. Sometimes we're backed up, other times it's quiet. That's just the way it goes in this line of work. We’re glad to be part of the community here and keep the craft going as best as we can. It's been this way for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing what we know how to do. The door is usually open if the weather is okay.
