You can find Dekora Arts in the Peetal Nagari Industrial Estate, situated on the Main Road along Rampur Road. Being in an industrial area means our surroundings are full of factories and the sounds of heavy work. Our unit is a practical space where we focus on various art projects. It’s not a place for high-end displays or comfortable seating. Instead, you’ll find workbenches, tools, and metal scraps. We often have grease or paint on our hands because we are always right in the middle of the production process. The floor is made of rough concrete and the walls are stained from years of work. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy office. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Most of the time, we are busy with orders that have to be finished by a certain date, so we don't have much time for small talk. We eat our lunch on the work tables and start back up as soon as we are done. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s the kind of work we know how to do well. The heat from the machines can make the shop feel a bit stuffy, but we just keep the fans running and carry on. We’ve been at this location on Rampur Road for a long time now. It’s just a hardworking shop where we get things done without making a big deal out of it.
