Aditi Arts

We have been running Aditi Arts here in Kothiwal Nagar for a good while now. It is not a very big place, just a simple shop where we keep our supplies and do most of the work. Usually, the mornings start with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust that settles overnight. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but you get the usual traffic of people going to work. Inside, there are stacks of frames and canvases leaning against the walls. It gets a bit cramped when a lot of materials arrive at once, but we manage to find a spot for everything eventually. We spend a lot of time just working with our hands, getting paint on our clothes, and trying to get the details right on whatever piece is on the table that day. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break for ten minutes before getting back to it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the evening light fades. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking past in the lane. If the door is open, we are usually inside working on something or talking to a neighbor. It is just a regular local business trying to do things the old-fashioned way without much fuss or noise.
