Brassco Exports

We've been over here on Old Rampur Road for quite a while now. If you come by the Katghar Railway Station, you can't miss us, we are right across the way. It gets pretty loud with the trains sometimes but we got used to it. Mostly we spend our days dealing with brass and metal pieces. There is a lot of dust and noise in the workshop but that is just how it goes when you're working with this kind of material. Sometimes the shipments come in late or the weather makes the road messy, but we keep at it. My uncle started this and now a few of us keep the place running. We don’t have a fancy office or anything, just the space where we pack things up and get them ready for transport. People ask if it’s hard work and yeah, it usually is. We have to check everything over before it goes out. Sometimes we find a scratch or a dent and have to fix it. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours especially when a big order is due. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure things get where they need to go. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years but the railway station is still the main landmark to find us. It’s a busy spot. We just try to stay organized among all the boxes and metal scraps lying around. Then we close up and head home to do it again tomorrow.
