3 D Brass

You can find 3 D Brass at 47-D-10, Nai Sarak, right in the heart of Old Mughal Pura. We are situated behind the Imambara, specifically near Quali Khan. It’s one of those old neighborhoods where the lanes are so narrow you can barely fit a bike through them sometimes. Our workshop is always filled with the smell of metal and the sound of someone tapping away at a piece of brass. It’s a noisy place, but it’s a good kind of noise. We have shelves filled with different molds and unfinished pieces that we’ve been working on. The light isn't always great inside, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see the fine details of what we are doing. Most of us here have been working with brass for a long time, so our hands are usually stained dark from the polish and the metal. We don't have a big sign outside, just the address and the work we do. People usually find us by word of mouth or by following the sound of the hammers. We take breaks to sit on the steps and chat with the shopkeepers next door. It’s a tight-knit community here in Mughal Pura. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal, making sure each piece feels right in the hand. It’s a bit dusty and the floors are never truly clean, but it's where we feel at home and get things done.
