Darshan Handicrafts

We are based in the Darshan Building, located at 21, Duriba Pann. Darshan Handicrafts has been in this same spot for quite a long time, and the building itself shows its age. The stairs are a little narrow and the rooms are packed with all kinds of items we’ve collected or made over the months. You’ll find things made of wood, brass, and even some stone pieces scattered around. There isn't really a system to how things are displayed; we just put them wherever there is an empty space on the shelves. Duriba Pann is a crowded street, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get deliveries in and out, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent cleaning off the dust that settles on the handicrafts or checking for any damage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished showroom. This is a working space where things get moved, packed, and unpacked constantly. We usually have a small radio playing some old songs to keep us company while we work. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, which makes it feel cozy in a way. We have a few regular customers who stop by just to see what’s new, and we usually offer them a seat if one is free. It’s just a basic shop where we do our best to keep things running smoothly without any fuss.
