Comet Handicrafts

We have been operating out of Bangla Gaon for quite a while now. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to the city center, which is fine by us. The workshop at Comet Handicrafts is usually messy by midday because that is just how things go when you are working with your hands all the time. Most of the people around here know us by name. We spend our mornings getting the materials ready and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is not a fancy setup. We have some old benches and a lot of tools that have seen better days but they still work. The address is just Bangla Gaon, and most people find us if they ask the tea stall owner at the corner. We don’t have a big sign or anything. Just the work being done inside the walls. Most days it is just the sound of scraping and cutting. We try to keep things moving along even when it gets hot in the afternoons. It gets dusty too. You can’t really help the dust when you are dealing with handicrafts. We just sweep it out every evening and start again the next day. It is a simple life here and we just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. We’re just local folks making things.
