Rs Handicraft Collection

We are located in Civil Lines. The shop is called Rs Handicraft Collection and it’s basically filled with all sorts of things people make by hand. When you walk into the space, you’ll see shelves reaching up to the ceiling. It’s not very organized in a corporate way, things just go where they fit. We spend our mornings unpacking crates and checking if anything got chipped during the move. The floor is usually covered in some straw or bubble wrap until we get a chance to sweep. Being in Civil Lines, it’s a bit different than the busier markets, but we still get a fair share of people walking past. Some days it’s just us sitting by the door waiting for the sun to go down so it stays cooler. We have pieces made of wood, some clay stuff, and textiles folded in the back. There isn't any fancy lighting, just the regular tubes on the ceiling that flicker sometimes. We handle the sales ourselves, usually writing things down in a big ledger book instead of using some complicated computer system. It feels more natural that way. The items come from different places, and they all have their own little quirks and marks on them. If you come by, you’ll likely find one of us dusting the figurines or rearranging the brass items to make more room on the tables. It is a quiet place and we like it that way.
