Aziz Exports

Our place is tucked away in Gali Dargian, which is just off Baradari Street in the Sarai Hussaini Begum area. It is one of those old parts of the city where the streets are very skinny and you really have to know where you are going if you want to find us. We have been here for a long time, and all the neighbors around here know exactly what we do. We export various goods that are produced right in this neighborhood. It involves a lot of manual work every day. We receive the items from the local makers, check them over to see if they are alright, and then pack them into boxes for the export containers. The space we have is a little bit cramped, especially when we have a large shipment that needs to go out by the end of the week. We end up with piles of boxes almost reaching the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of moving things around just so we can walk across the floor. We don't use any of those high-tech computer systems for this. We mostly just use our paper notebooks and our own memory to keep track of where everything is. It has worked for us for years. My uncle used to run this place before he retired, and I just took it over from him. We kept things mostly the same.
