About Asian Handicrafts (Moradabad) – Art & Craft in Moradabad
If you’re driving along the Rampur Road, you’ll find us near the Pandit Nagla Bye Pass. That’s where Asian Handicrafts (Moradabad) is based. It’s a busy spot because of the bypass, so there’s a constant hum of trucks and cars passing by all day. Moradabad is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other shops and workshops in the area. Our building is pretty plain on the outside, just a standard concrete structure. Inside, it’s a different story with all the metal and wood pieces we handle. It can get really loud when the polishing machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. The floor is almost always covered in a bit of dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep it. We have a big gate for the trucks to come in, but it squeaks something awful every time it opens. We’ve been meaning to oil it for months but always forget. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We usually sit near the back where it’s cooler. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything. People usually just find us because they know the area or saw the sign near the bypass. We just do our work, pack the items, and send them on their way. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Nothing too complicated.
