Artisan Brass House

Artisan Brass House is located right across from the Govt. College in Faiz Ganj. You can usually find us there from early in the morning until late in the evening. It is a place filled with the heavy smell of metal and polish. We have brass pieces sitting everywhere—some are finished and shiny, while others are just starting. It is a bit of a mess in here, to be honest. We don't have much room for a fancy office, so we just use a small corner for the paperwork and the phone. The rest of the space is all for the work. Faiz Ganj is a very lively area, especially with all the college students walking by our door all the time. Sometimes they peek in to see what we are making. We don't have a sales team or a big catalog for people to look at. We just show people whatever we have sitting on the shelves. Working with brass is hard physical work and your hands get dirty and stay that way no matter how much you wash them. We don't really mind. We just focus on the items we are making and try to get them right. Sometimes a piece doesn’t turn out how we wanted it to, so we just have to start over again. It is just part of the daily process. We don't have any big corporate rules. We just drink tea and do our work.
