The office is at 251 Rajgarh Dadara, right here in the Mirzapur district. Rajgarh Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who decided it was better to work together instead of trying to do everything alone. Being in Mirzapur, we deal with a lot of different crops depending on what the season brings. It is not a very fancy setup we have here. We have a desk, some old chairs, and a lot of paper registers to keep track of what every farmer is bringing in from their fields. The 231001 area is where we all grew up, so we know the local people and the land quite well. We don't spend any money on advertising or anything like that because word of mouth is how most people find us anyway. We deal with the daily struggles of farming, like when the rains don't come on time or when the prices in the market drop suddenly without warning. We try to help each other out during those hard times. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late just to finish the weighing and the loading of the bags. We are just trying to get a fair shake for the stuff we grow with our own hands. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by candlelight, but the work doesn't stop for that. It is a very direct and honest way of living. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to keep the Rajgarh area productive for everyone.
