We set up Ghorawal Farmers Producer Company Limited a while back to help each other out with the farming work around here. Krishna Chandra Khutahaghorawal’s place is where we usually meet up to talk about things. Ghorawal is a quiet spot, and most of us have been working these fields since we were kids. It’s not fancy or anything. We just needed a way to organize our seeds and tools so we weren’t always doing everything alone. Sometimes the weather is rough, and having the group makes those times a bit easier to manage. We deal with whatever the season brings, mostly grains and local vegetables. You can find us down the road at the address mentioned. It’s just a group of neighbors trying to make a living from the land. There’s always someone stopping by to check on the latest prices or to borrow a piece of equipment. We don’t have a big office with desks and stuff. It’s mostly just sitting around and figuring out how to get the crops to the market without losing too much money. Farming is hard work, and doing it as a collective seemed like a practical step for our families. We aren't trying to do anything world-changing, just keeping the farms running and making sure the next generation has something to work with. If you walk past Krishna Chandra’s house, you’ll likely see some of us standing around talking shop. That’s pretty much how we operate every day.
