Nirmalsingh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Nirmal Singh's place in Mirzapur Kanchan Pur Phoolbehar. We’re just local people from Phoolbehar who wanted to have a way to work together. Farming is tough work, and it’s better when you aren’t doing it all by yourself. Nirmal Singh’s house is where we meet to discuss what needs to happen with the crops. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lobby. It’s just a room where we sit and talk about the fields and the weather. Most of us have been in this village our whole lives. We know the land pretty well, and we know each other. The idea for the company came up because it seemed like the right thing to do to stay organized. There isn't much to say about us other than we’re farmers. We wake up early, go to work, and then come back to check on things. It’s a simple routine. We don’t use any corporate talk or try to sound like we’re bigger than we are. We just want to make sure the work gets done and that our families are okay. It’s about the soil and the crops at the end of the day. If someone needs help, they know where to find us. We’re just trying to keep the farm life going steady in Mirzapur. It’s a long road but we don't mind the effort. We just hope the crops turn out okay after all the work we put in.
