Divyanchal Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Chindlika, which is part of Mirzapur. We use a space at Anil Kumar’s place, and you can find us if you look for the Chindlika area specifically. Mirzapur has a certain way about it, and being out here in the village means we are right in the thick of the farming community. We don't have any fancy signage or a big glass front. It is just a door that stays open most of the day so people can walk in and talk about their yields. We spend a lot of time discussing the rains because that is what really matters at the end of the year. There are usually a few bags of grain or some samples of soil sitting in the corner of the room. We try to help each other out with getting better prices for what we grow. It is mostly a lot of talking and writing things down in ledgers by hand before we put them into the system. Sometimes the cows from the neighbors get a bit too close to the office, and we have to shoo them away so we can focus. It is just a regular life here, working with what we have and trying to make sure the farmers in Chindlika get what they deserve for their hard work. We are just local guys doing what needs to be done.
