Lokapur Pahari Mirzapur Up Farmer Producer Company Limited

Out here in Village Lokapur Pahadapahada, things move a bit slower than in the city. Our group, Lokapur Pahari Mirzapur Up Farmer Producer Company Limited, is run right out of Pramod Kumar’s place. Mirzapur is known for its landscape, and being in the Pahari area means we have our own set of challenges with the land. We mostly focus on what the local families are growing in their plots. It’s a group effort, really. We don't have a fancy sign or a reception desk. You just walk up to the house and someone will be there to talk. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and the afternoons trying to figure out where to sell everything. It’s a lot of back and forth. Pramod is usually the one keeping things moving. We’ve all lived here our whole lives, so we know the soil pretty well. It’s not about getting rich; it’s about making sure the village can keep farming for another generation. Sometimes we meet under the trees to discuss things when the house gets too crowded. There’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of animals nearby. It’s just how it is in Lokapur. We don't need any promotional talk because the work speaks for itself. We're just a bunch of neighbors trying to stay afloat together. That's the way we have always done things around this village.
