Rohith Convent

Rohith Convent is located in Kikkeri, Mandya. If you live around here, you probably pass by our gate at least once a day. The school isn't huge, but we have enough space for the local kids to come and spend their day. Every morning, there is a bit of a rush on the road as parents drop off their children on scooters or cycles. The building has been standing for quite some time, and it feels like a part of the neighborhood now. Inside, you will hear the sound of kids reciting lessons or the scrape of chairs on the floor. We don't have anything too fancy, just the basic desks and boards that every school needs. The staff here are mostly people from the nearby areas, so we all know each other pretty well. During the lunch break, the smell of home-cooked food fills the corridors as the kids open their tiffin boxes. We try to keep things organized, but with so many children, it can get a little messy sometimes. That is just how it goes with a school. We have a small area where the kids can play, though it isn't a full-sized stadium or anything. We just focus on getting the lessons finished and making sure the kids are safe until their parents come to pick them up in the evening. It’s a simple life here in Kikkeri, and the school is just one part of it.
