Down in Malavalli Taluk, specifically in the Dugganahalli area, you'll find Jnanapeeta Vidya Samsthe. We are located right on MM Road, which gets pretty busy with tractors and buses passing through Mandya. It’s a local place. Most people around here are farmers or work in small shops, so the school is a central part of the community. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The building is sturdy and does what it needs to do. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of chalk on boards and kids chatting during the breaks. We have a lot of students who travel from the surrounding villages to get here every morning. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the light in. It’s not a corporate setup at all. The staff here are folks who have lived in Mandya their whole lives. We know the families and we know the struggles people face around here. We just try to provide a decent place for the kids to sit and study. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, and we're always sweeping the floors, but that's just part of being in this location. It’s a humble spot, nothing fancy or over-the-top. We just focus on the daily routine of teaching and making sure the students are actually learning something useful for their future. It is a lot of effort, but we just keep going day after day.
